Hi, I applied to the USC, Chapman, FSU, and Emerson film schools, and am also applying to Iowa and am contemplating also applying for Bethel, a christian college, because I would much rather be in that atmosphere than Iowa's if I'm not accepted to one of the film schools. Iowa does have a film major, but Bethel does not, would it be easier to transfer from Iowa to one of the film schools, or would it be about the same chances? Thanks.

I am applying as a transfer to FSU they only let in 5 they call back 10-15 for an interview I got an interview but I worked like crazy to get there. If you get a no you can always keep trying. Did you get your denial letter? If not that is a good sign because they may call you for an interview. 1st year or transfer is still hard. Plus you would have to wait till junior year. Might be better off saving $$ and going to a community college.

I haven't got a letter yet, my online status says an admission notification will be available tomorrow, but is that just for the school or for the film program?

start volunteering at the films and add stuff... For my resume I put down my jobs and all the films I worked on as well as my education just a very basic resume nothing like clubs etc. on it. they not need that if its over one page long they lose interest.
