Looking for film schools

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

I am hardcore-looking for film schools for more than a week now.
It's my vacation and I have like 3 days left in the US then I fly back to Germany. Because of the limited amount of time I haven't got to reading all the threads in this forum (what I usually do before asking something like this).

Here's my situation:
I live in Germany but also have a US citizenship. This means I can apply for financial aid. Because my dad has lived long enough in DC I get the in-state tuition rates for all state colleges in the US.
I have looked on the websites of scores of state colleges and state art schools but I just can't narrow down the search, plus it is really hard to find film schools that solely concentrate on the filming part, in a lot of colleges which offer a BFA in Film Studies I would have to take sciences and difficult math. In short: I seek an art school that puts its main focus on film classes.
If it's a really good and famous private school I would also take it into consideration.

My favorite is the North Carolina School of the Arts. This is exactly the kind of school I'm looking for, so that you get a picture of what I want.

Thanks in advance

Dave
