I am going to that school next fall for film and I was wondering what you guys thought of it.

Since you picked a community college to learn filmmaking and, apparently to take care of your general ed requirements at an economical cost, you would be wiser to go to Los Angeles City College (6th largest film school, 2nd tier ranking with faculty that teach at UCLA, USC and Art Center of Pasadena). You would then be meeting and networking with students from all over the world and some who work in the industry. Plus you will be where films are made thus providing opportunities to get on sets. In the alternative, De Anza is a highly regarded community college and is a good alternative without the advantages cited above.
