I'd say with those stats you're on the fence... is that SAT score in the new system, or the old one? If that's a new score, you need to improve it a lot. If it's in the old SAT you're right on target for NYU.
Work on a great portfolio reel with lots of storytelling ability obvious in it and a killer essay!
Good luck!

Montclair, NJ. If I throw a rock about a mile away, It'll land there.
I just watched your video. Honestly, I hated it. It was entirely too drawn out, and it lacked a solid plot. I take it it was about time travelling, but it wasn't clear. Manowar rules, so I'll give you props for the song, but the video as a whole was awful. I felt like I was watching a Mexican soap-opera because of the costumes. On the plus side, you do seem to have a good grasp on editing, as some of the stuff synced up the music.
You might as well apply, but don't ever put all of your eggs in one basket. Try to apply elsewhere as well.

Manowar is the ****. I'm a huge metal head, as well as everything else. I like lots of different music, but metal and hardcore punk are on the forefront.
Take more time next time, it could be good.

As for the NYFA, I'm leaving for the Princeton session this weekend.
As for film school, I see that you live in Montclair, I know that Montclair State just opened up a brand new film department, it's no NYU, but maybe you should check it out.
