I just downloaded the free version of Avid in preperation for a short film thing I want to make for a scholarship competition. So I decided to edit together a few clips I had on my harddrive I made by using the 30 second record feature on my digital camera.
I guess it's kind of cool. No real story and it's only a few seconds short of 10 seconds, but I guess it's a pretty decent attempt at something "cool looking." Satiate my need for attention plz.
I think If only that your short looks cool, that doesnt make it actually good. There should be some drama also: plot, which viewer could discover. Let the viewers to be suprised and offer them something logical to follow.
Though there is always chance excisting that some professors can see in your film some deep meanings that you didnt yourself notice.
