Sorry I haven't written guys! Gosh, I'm gonna cut it short.... Basically the initial shooting went great! We still have alot to do though. Editing of what we have already is basically done but I still need to touch it up and adjust sound and color, etc. The police scene was set back twice now! Ick!! Ah well. We shoot again this Wednesday, doing the guilt scenes. These are prolly the most important ones, too! I am excited about them! My team is planning a premiere of sorts at my theatre...my manager already said yes, too! We are all going to get dressed up and give speeches and stuff! lol Then we are getting an ad in the paper to say that the movie will be shown at a park for the public viewing, too! hehe Sweetness! I'll keep ya'll posted!

Well Jackiepants, what can I say... This movie of yours has developed a lot since I began reading your post who knows how long ago... And I appoligize that I haven't written anything lately, as I have been busy, and injured lately... but enough about me. Anyways although this probably doesn't mean much coming from a person you don't know, I just want to let you know that I am proud of you, and what you have done, and have mangaged to pull together over this last little while. The pictures on your site look awesome, and I think you are doing an amazing job! Keep up the hard work, and I promise in the end it will all pay off, and believe me as sad as it can get sometimes there is nothing more satisfing than wraping up production on a movie you have dedicated so much time to. I truely believe from what I have been reading that you will have a great film, and it's your first film... I look back on my first films and go "what was I thinking"... Anyways congratulations, and best of luck with the rest of your shooting.
Sincerely, Bird

I am shooting again on Friday, one of the guilt scenes. School makes things soo hard! ack! And the leaves are falling fast, I sure hope we beat them to the ground....! Wish me luck!!

OMG guys I have really bad news...my cinematographer has quit!! He had the nice camera and stuff, and he let me use it for free. Now he wants to quit and I still have several scenes to shoot! I don't know what to do! I have to use my analog camera and I doubt it'll look good, it'll be horrible! HELP!!!

Wait... What... What do you mean he quit? What caused him to quit all of a sudden? Oh yeah and before I forgett, welcome to the wonderful world of student film making where people tend to screw you over... It happens all the time. (sorry if I sound negative, I'm just saying it as it is).

Ya, funny thing is, HE was the one who complained about his films never getting done because people quit on him all the time. Apparently he didn't learn anything from that...! My main actor promised to talk to him, so maybe he'll stay, I don't know yet. I am on pins and needles though! ugh. I have another cinematographer I could do the reaminder of the scenes, but I'd hate to change styles and I'd hate to change the team I have going right now, so close to the end. I only have a few scenes left! We only have the hanging sequence, the police station, and the cemetery. Like, three days of shooting that's IT. I talked to my actor though and he hasn't talked to him yet, even though he said he would...*sigh*. We are aiming to shoot this Thursday, and I guess we'd be finishing the hanging sequence then. After that we can do the police station shots and cemetery shots pretty much at any time, even during Thanksgiving break or something... o, and he says he wants to quit because he has his own projects starting and he's working alot.

Well I got after my actor to talk to the cinematographer but he changed his mind and said suddenly that he had "thought it over" and it was MY job. ok fine, but he volunteered! ugh So now we lost another day of shooting. Thank God it rained that day so we couldn't've shot anyhow, but still. I called the cinematographer yesterday and left a message on his phone and he hasn't called back yet. I called yesterday because I figured he wouldn't be at work on a Sunday so I wouldn't have to leave a message...I think he has caller ID and chose not to andwer me! On a lighter note, I talked to the other camera person who might take Tony's place and he still seems willing to finish the movie with me if worse comes to worst, but he's a professional and I think I'd have to pay him and I can't afford to We'll see what happens, but isn't looking to good right now. But don't worry I don;t give up too easily, and this movie WILL be completed, one way or the other!!!

hey guys I'm baaack! lol Well Tony DID quit and that was basically horrible...but Jeff took over with his GL2 thank God!! he also has Premiere Pro so he took over editing as well. He also has a friend who has an older voice for the voice over. SO I 'm just waiting on Jeff to finish editing and getting the voice-over...then I can send out for music, and that's that... Oh and we are having the premiere still, and I have bought my own "red carpet" dress...it's gorgeous!! I've very excited! And beyond that, my second film is now in the audition phase...did I ever mentiont his project? I don't think so...it was my idea, I had the script written by a professional, and now I'm auditioning for it! haha I have already casted the lead female role, and it's an actress from New York who has a wonderful resume, I can't believe it! And she's willing to pay her own board and travel, too! This film is going to be better than DUI, I can tell already! When I have the chance I'll fill in the details but I gotta run now...hope you guys read this! Man I never post here anymore, I'm so sorry! Oh, and I'm in film school now, and that's so awesome!

All riiight! DUI is just about finished guys! The film is fully edited, the voiceover has been added, and the music is being taken care of as we speak The premiere will most likely be in May, and the film is already entered in the Milwaukee Film Festival! I'm so excited! That was my first film festival, I just visited...and this very next year, here I am, entering it! It's a pretty big festival for the midwest I doubt it'll do anything, but w/e I'm excited to know it's in the festival anyhow! In other news, Dreams is FULLY casted now and I'm working on the final dates of shooting. I still have a few more locations to finalize. I'll be starting the storyboarding now too! I have a cinematographer I think...I'm not sure because he didn't show for two meetings! arg But he had good reasons for both, so I guess he gets one more chance before I move on, lol! But ya, very soon my friends, very soon!
