...or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Souse my Camera...
So I'm building an acquatic vessel for my JVC HD110. I shopped around for some housings, but they were either too costly, questionable in their durability, or unaccommodating to my bayonet-mount fisheye (a must for the underwater shots I'm planning).
The basic design I lifted from
this, but mine will have to be much larger to accommodate my JVC HD110. I've already removed the mic holder, but I still need near 10 inches of gosh-darned diameter to fit this thing. I considered sawing off the top grip along with the viewfinder and earpiece, but I figured there would be lots of wires and stuff in there, and god I hate wires and stuff.
Starting maybe Monday I'll post some photos and eventually a video link to my progress. The final chapter will be either a glorious underwater cinematography reel or a home video of the destruction of my camera.
Yeah, I know. I'm excited too.
