The start of the production to "the meeting" was successful but failed in areas. The production started with 3 weeks of pre-production with great ideas and a motive which is ideal for making a film. I was the director of photography and we set up a scene which was visually entertaining. The problem was what the scene has no need to be filmed but it had to be as it was an important part of the story... it didn’t fit well. We had to leave the scene and pick it up with fresh eyes so to speak. We aim to fill in the gaps where the boom mic (Rifle Microphone) has hit the top of the screen because of the small rooms on location, but we have worked this out and the final moving around of cast and crew is a bit like sticking a wrestler into a phone box.. Very hard to archive and not practical.
