I'm not in production just yet. I have thought of a very simple trailer idea that will go with the film perfectly. There will be footage and I'm hoping to film tomorrow... hoping!
I have completed another poster to 'Blow Job.' I'm having great fun with the "marketing" aspect of the film.
I've had a few people help with the posters. This one was another designed by my friend Cassandra.
Here is her version. I think it is awesome and I'm sure she'd love to hear what people think of her work.
I embraced Cassandra's idea and made something of my own. Let me know what you think!
I filmed a trailer but have yet to put the footage together. There's are more things I want to add so I'm going to leave that idea alone until I get closer to the first day of production.
Hm. I think the phallic resemblance with the text is pushing it just a little...especially in the second one. (the brown cartoon "cap" is amusing me greatly...its just SO over the top)
I look forward to seeing your trailer though...you think you'll have it put together within the next few days?

I'm not liking the text. I like the idea of the first picture, with her licking her lip, but overall the second picture is better. The text kinda puts everything down, it doesn't "work" with the feel. Just my opinion.

The text on the first one feels bland to me as well. I wanted to give mine a fake quality, cartoonish almost.
I'm not the type of person who would ever let a poster offend them but then again I can see how it would upset people. I just don't understand why.
I don't think I'll have the trailer complete in the next few days. I can hope that there will be a trailer out by the time the film is released late June, though.
The reason I make posters is just to have some fun with that aspect of filmmaking as well. There's so much you can do with your movie posters to make them interesting.
Jayimess, you're correct the film isn't "about" fellatio.

I love seeing the posters. It's part of the creative process and it generates excitement for the project.
I wasn't offended by the second poster, Mark, it's just that I've read your script and sex was incidental (albeit pivotal) to the main action. The poster you sent me but didn't post I thought created the right balance between sexual suggestiveness and dramatic intensity. It was provocative but not blatant.
But this is just my opinion.
