Some people have said that they've been having problems playing back the films using QuickTime on Windows.... funkbomb found the answer:

"I deinstalled and then reinstalled Quicktime, and this time clicked "modify file and MIME types" at the end of the installation. Under MIME association, MPEG-4 was actually unchecked. I checked it and it fixed everything."
