One of the features that I am working on with my programmer are the individual film viewing stat pages.

The page would display a line graph of the views over the current year. Clicking on a month will give a detailed graph for that month.

I also would like to include some information beneath the graph such as:

1. Total views of all time
2. Total views for current month

I would also like to include a feature such as:

3. Average views per day (or)
4. Average views per week (or)
5. Average views per month

Which of those 3 stats are the most important to you as I will only include one?

Also, I am also able to display how many people view the modem version vs the broadband version. Is this important to you or are the total views (no matter which format) the most important?

Thanks for your feedback on the matter.

I'd say average views per week.

And I personally don't care about broadband versus modem views.

Total views is better as oppose to modem/broadband, and to know the total for the week or month would be great.

If you decide to do the graph and everything you described, that would be extremely cool.

We can't stop here, it's bat country!

Screw views per day, week or month, I want to see total views of all time, because I'm dying of curiousity! (And not just for my film...)

I think listing stats for modem/broadband viewings would be interesting, but definately not needed. I would very much like the avg views per week.

This is only tangentially related to the original thread posted by Chris, but I think there should be a "Featured Filmmaker" or a "Feature Film(s)" segment on the homepage that highlights the work of students who have made some classics, but just haven't been seen in a long while.

We all know that the new flicks get a lot of attention, but there are pieces out there by directors that seem to get lost in the shuffle. For instance, Shawn Kasinger's work is great, but it's gone relatively unnoticed (and no, I don't know him -- never have and probably never will, but I am a fan).

Chris, you're doing a great job with the website, but I just thought I'd post my two cents on the subject. Maybe it'll catch your interest.
