Contest Info:
The fee for entering the contest is $20. ($10 hosting fee + $10 festival fee)
All filmmakers who submit a film will get a DVD of the best films of the festival when it is released.
Films will not be posted on Studentfilms.com for judging until after the submission deadline of August 15th, 2006 to give all films equal time on the site.
Films will be judged and winners chosen by the filmmakers themselves. Each filmmaker who submits a film will choose their top three films in the competition (besides their own film of course).
Filmmakers must submit their top three picks to the site as well as their detailed review for all films by September 15th, 2006. Grand Prize is to be determined – last year’s winner got $200 but we’re trying to get a sponsor for the prize. At the very least, the prize will be the same as last year’s.
All films must be postmarked no later than August 15th, 2006.
