Actually the count is 7 (I miscounted), but I just got 6 packages today. I haven't opened any of them yet - but there's a high probability that they're all contest submissions.
When three friends leave for a long roadtrip to Miami beach, they are constantly thwarted by miniscule obstacles. Whether it be a forgotten cell phone or a nagging girl friend, these boys will stop at nothing to get to those warm beaches.
Heres some screenshots from my film Roadtrip Nowhere Kyle Monte and Michael fuller as Skye and Travis in Roadtrip Nowhere. Matt Wilcox and Michael Fuller as Eddie and Skye in Roadtrip Nowhere.
A gladsome youth and his red-dressed date are on their way to The Big Dance. But the girl’s father has a few words of warning for the pair: Their intended path is haunted by a chilling figure of lore – the big-eyed, red-skinned, high-hopping, projectile-vomiting Spring Heeled Jack! Will the buoyant young couple’s evening be marred by the fantastical warnings of the girl’s father? Does the old man’s admonition of the legendary Spring Heeled Jack hold any truth? And is there really nothing like a good blue?
Spook! A demonchild thwarts your way! Egad! What has becometh of mine watch? We should buy some pies together!
I'm eager to see the rest of the films! The pictures look great!

"Once a loyal servant, a masterful Swordsman wanders the land seeking refuge...
...accused of murder, a price on his head, the Swordsman finds himself hunted."
Kinda sounds serious, but we tried to include some tongue in cheek humor and it's also dubbed (more good bad and ugly dubbed as opposed to godzilla dubbed hehe).
Overall it was fun to film -- although during those two days we ran into police, anoyying kids on their ATV, a wooden post falling on our actor (doh!), the hottest day of the year (103 I believe) and of course some crazy locals. Other than that though we had a blast =). I'm really looking forward to seeing the other films!
Harris: Thanks for the compliment man! We shot this with a Panasonic DVX100 -- we didn't have a filter(save for the uv filter) or do any post color correction on it, but I'm flattered some people think so.
titanium: Nothing major happened with the police actually. We drove into the backwoods and ran into these annoying kids on their atv. Then they drove off and about a minute later a squad car came driving up the trail (for backwoods, this place sure was busy). The cop asked me what we were doing and we gave the usual innocent students working on a project story. Fortunately he was very nice and allowed us to continue filming. He was actually there looking for the atv kids, so just bad timing on our part. =(
