Hello everyone,

I've added a home page for the Studentfilms.com Community which lists active topics, new members, and has easy links to the Forums and Chatrooms.

Hopefully this will increase the ease of use and value of the forums.

In regards to the forums being ultra slow recently - Infopop is aware of the issue and is working on it. Also, you may have noticed that the "New Topics" list don't update automatically. This is also another issue that they are supposedly working on.

Eve 1.2 was supposed to boost performance - and unfortunately the opposite has seemed to happen so far. Let's hope they can fix it soon!

Suggestions, etc... what you like/don't like.

I personally use "New since your last visit" more than "today's active topics" - so, are those numbers in ()s after a topic the amount of new posts since my last visit? Or the amount of new posts today?

It'd be cool if new posts since my last visit could be integrated in there somehow.

I know, but there isn't a "content island" (the term Infopop uses for those custom lists) for "New since your last visit")

Today's active topics shows the most recent new topics or new replies, which is kindof almost the same. Please note there is a 10 minute delay in those lists.
