Five new films were added this morning. Enjoy!

Fools on Fire by Benjamin Bode
Michigan State University

Somewhere under a moonless night's sky a young man achieves self realization - but that doesn't have anything to do with this film? But then what does this movie have to do with? Why only adventure, love, mystery, medium-speed running, and giant sex ducks!!! That's all.

For the Birds by Ashley Lopez
South Miami Senior High

Joshua Leighton leads a bored and uninspired life until an old friend from high school suggests something that could turn it around.

L.O.T.A. Three Act 3: Divine Negligence & Empty Heavens by Jeffrey Mitchell
San Francisco State University

In this episode, a renegade artist and rock-n-roll princess are traveling to the Sea of Kansas, while discussing their reasons for making the perilous journey...

L.O.T.A. Three Act 4: A Dual Lunar Sky by Jeffrey Mitchell
San Francisco State University

In this episode, the rock-n-roll warrior princess named "Hessia" talks about the first night she say the second moon of the Earth in the sky...

Quiet Desperation by Tyler Rudolph
Oley Valley High School

A neurotically shy girl confides herself within the shelter of a quiet library - spending her days wrapped in literature and loneliness - until a sudden spark in a form of an insightful boy ignites a timid rebellion from her.

From the FAQ:

quote:
Once the film is received it usually takes 2-4 weeks to be posted on the site, depending on the number of submissions that have been received before your film. You will receive an e-mail shortly after we receive your film which will provide the estimated posting date for your film(s).

It depends how many films are in the queue before it once I receive the film.

Currently the wait time now is about a month.

Its cuz of that insanely large amount of episodic futuristic animation sci fi epic short film thing. I don't think its fair to submit such a large amount of the same film. Even my film... 3 episodes... but I only submitted the 2nd. And even if I had all three completed, I wouldnt submit them all at once. Its just not fair to the rest of the submissions on this site.

Well yes, usually if it is an episodic I only do one episode per week but I decided to do two per week for this one since there are 12 episodes.

The last two were the last of the series. In the future I'll return to the policy of only 1 film per filmmaker per week.

I understand that twelve episodes of something from one person alone is quite a bit of money for the site, and that Chris shouldn't start discriminating which submissions are put up. But seriously, that series is not entertaining and I've been aggrevated every time it took the slot of other films that, even if bad, would've been more enjoyable to watch.

I dont think its fair to discreminate a film because of quality, im sure the filmmaker put alot of work into the films. And I think some people must like them because ive seen quite good ratings on some of them.

I think it's a neat film - definitely unlike anything I've ever seen before.

If a filmmaker wants to submit a series of work that is great.

Having only one film per week posted however, is something that I will definitely do in the future however.
