Mine is called The Banana Road

The story is pretty bizarre and I don't want to spoil it too much.

The official synopsis is "For a gorilla, breakfast just isn't right without bananas."

Aww thats not fair.. your film looks better than mine Mine was just kinda a crappy idea that I came up with.. I hate being overly critical about my work .

I really want to visit England... that countryside looks so nice.

My film is called "Stakeout on Cranberry," and well, it's about a stakeout (and poptarts).

Well, this was the first ever StudentFilms.com competition, so we'll see how this one goes, and I'd be willing to bet there will be another. Maybe annually. Just check around the forums occasionally, and make sure your profile has "receive newsletter" enabled and you should hear about the next one.

Mine is a documentary on my road to student council president. It's not that great, but it is the first movie I have ever made so I am glad I got it done in time to send it off and hopefully get some feedback on how to improve.

Awesome. I really hope they do another. I really struggle when coming up with original ideas for a movie. With a themed competition, it'll help a lot.

That sucks! Did you ship it anyway? It would technically get there the same time whether you shipped it Friday right before closing, or Monday morning. It might be ok with Chris, but I don't know.

it has to be postdated by july 1. if he sends it monday itll be postdated as the fourth.

yeah, it had to be postdated July 1st. Thats ok. Next year I'll get it done earlier, and don't worry Mark, there will be explosions to spare!

The current tally for films submitted is 8 films, of course this doesn't include the deluge of last minute films that may be waiting in my box on Tuesday or Wednesday.
