it certainly would! i used music from over nine composers, musicians and bands in my film Stirling. I've updated it from Musical Score to "Soundtrack" which is more all encompassing - for sound fx and whatnot. Always tweaking.  -Chris Studentfilms.com

Not only possible, come to think of it, All of my scores have been done online with the exception of my own projects. Look at what you can do thanks to internet and broadband:negotiations, communication, clips, mp3 files, payment can all be sent via computer. As a student myself, I understand that there are low-budget projects being made. If you need a composer for your upcoming project, shoot me an email. I'm sure we can work something out.
