it certainly would!

i used music from over nine composers, musicians and bands in my film Stirling. Three of them live within one hundred miles (and are friends) the others are spread over the US, and the rest of the world including Greece, Belgium, and Spain

My new film has NO MUSIC.

I guess this means I'm getting bad reviews already.

I've updated it from Musical Score to "Soundtrack" which is more all encompassing - for sound fx and whatnot.

Always tweaking.

Not only possible, come to think of it, All of my scores have been done online with the exception of my own projects. Look at what you can do thanks to internet and broadband:negotiations, communication, clips, mp3 files, payment can all be sent via computer.
As a student myself, I understand that there are low-budget projects being made.
