It would be cool to have some sort of technical info page for each film, so that others can see what format/equipment was used to film each movie. And that way filmmakers can post other information about the film that doesn't belong in the synopsis. Just a thought.

for the site when you first come then have options films or community buttons just saying

I'm not so sure about an intro, that would get annoying after a while. I'd just like to put in a request to please keep the white on black look... i know there have been some complaints but it's just so perfect for a filmmaking site.

We might be losing the white on black look - it'll still be cool though - whatever we go with.
A download section? Official wallpaper. (something to match the shirts) Stock footage, self composed music etc? Perhaps something all members could contribute to.
I was also thinking of maybe a hall of fame. Members past and present who have made it in the industry.

I 2nd the motion of a technical specs/ more detailed info page for everyone's film. Don't bother going back and trying to update everyone, just when new films come in they have the option to fill it out.
I know the stick footage has been mentioned before, and I would love to see that implemented. You could even set it up like istock photo.
Charge to download the footage and the creator of the video gets a small cut.

Well - it might go. The site's going to get a major overhaul. I'm going to try a bunch of things. The black and blue is probably going to be no more. I'm not saying that it won't be light text on a dark BG - but the black, blue, white - is probably going to go.

Well - the new site will definitely have a user login system - so filmmakers will be able to add it themselves.

That would be awesome - but probably really hard to implement. Perhaps though.
Oooohhh yeah. Almost 80% of the time I can't send a comment or message without it saying, "Sorry an error has occured, please try again later". Don't even get me into the logging in part of myspace.
yea, myspace is aweful with the whole login process. i bet they dont even try to fix it cos its been that way for the last year if not longer.
personally, i dont like the white on black - its classic, i know, but it hard to read and i end up highlighting it all and reading it as blue on white, haha.
a popup chatroom would be sweet, because the site is always so active. it would be cool if, as soon as you log in, you would be dumped into this chat or w/e.
and its also really hard to search for stuff, it would be nice if it was more organized. like if you search "chris rice", for example, it would pop up in different categories.

I find that insanely hard to read. I guess people find it uncomfortable to read things certain ways. That would be an interesting study to do . . . .
