Hello everyone,

I apologize for the long wait in announcing the winners to the contest but it took a long time for everyone to get their picks to me. One filmmaker even still hasn't gotten his picks to me for the contest, so I've unfortunately been forced to disqualify his film from the competition.

The way the winners were chosen were as follows:

1. Each filmmaker submits their pick for their top three films. (not their own)
2. The first pick gets 30 points, second gets 20 points, and the third gets 10 points.
3. After everyone submits their picks the score is tallied.
4. Each filmmaker also submits their picks for individual categories.

So, without further ado, here are the winners:

Grand Prize Winner: (160 Points) Fluorescent Justice by Perry Kroll

Second Place Winner: (140 Points) Maciora by Anders Holine

Third Place Winner: (130 Points) Lost in Conception by Joseph Gerbino

Best Acting: Fever by Mark Romano

Best Cinematography: Maciora by Anders Holine

Best Directing: Lost in Conception by Joseph Gerbino

Best Editing: Fever by Mark Romano

Best Score: Fluorescent Justice by Perry Kroll

Best Screenplay: Lost in Conception by Joseph Gerbino

Best Interpretation of Theme: TIE BETWEEN Lost in Conception by Joseph Gerbino AND Fluorescent Justice by Perry Kroll

Awards will be sent out soon. Thanks to everyone for participating in the contest!

Best Regards,
Chris Wright
