At the request of many filmmakers, the deadline for the contest has been extended to September 1st.
Now there are no more excuses! (there will not be any more deadline extensions)
Here are the list of received films:
1. "Where in the World" by Trevor Scott 2. "Lost and Found" by Stanley Mackrell 3. "Macioria" by Anders Holine 4. "Life of a Quarter" by David Zavik 5. "Where's My Keys" by Michael Goldman 6. "Knit Meryl Knit!" by Andrew Jewison 7. "Jacob's New Best Friend" by Mark Carter 8. "Call Me" by Nick Coyle 9. "Lost in Conception" by Joseph Gerbino 10. "LOST" by Valeria Meng 11. "Where did you go?" by Charlotte Wooley 12. "Do Not Touch" by Gabriel Kuchar
Add your film to this list! No more excuses! Send in those films! Everyone who said that they'd submit if there was a deadline extension better get cracking!
Let's make this a better contest than last year's!
Originally posted by Harmonica: Does this mean that the films wont be posted til after the new deadline?
Films already sent in, that is.
I think that would be the most fair for everyone competing. Besides - usually there is a two week wait to have a film posted on the site anyways.
If I post the films too soon - then people might watch them and make films subconsciously similar to the ones already posted - or not do an idea because someone else did.
If the films are all posted at the same time, then we can be sure that there wasn't any influence on the filmmakers from the other films.
you know like on a DVD you can listen to the filmmakers talk while watching the film? Well you can do that. say something about the production. or sing a song.

YEAH! Maybe I'll have time after all! After the accident, I've been working my butt off because I missed two weeks of work, but now I may be able to get something together this weekend!
