The following five new films were added to the site tonight:

Blue Heaven Rhapsody by William Sten Olsson
University of Southern California

"A young couple are torn between emotions as they struggle to decide what to do with their relationship."

Boys and Girls by Phillip D Broome
Central Piedmont Community College

"Your atypical story of boy meets girl, meets girl, meets girl. All he wants is a date, all they want is for him to drop dead."

Final Farewells by Kimberly Elwood
Central Piedmont Community College

"Preparing for end of life decisions."

Magnum Opus Dork by Sam Swanson
University of Arkansas

"This is a documentary about the unique North Texas based "dork rock" comedy band "Cowsponge" and the four high school students that make up the group. Directed by the group's bassist, this film not only gives insight to the virtually unheard of quirky musical foursome through it's members and fans, but it also shows the many difficulties of holding together a garage band through many obstacles."

My Midnight Guardian by Timothy Dobbins
Central Piedmont Community College

"A young man struggles with sorrow, desperation, and decisions about ending his life."

Enjoy!

This is the code jensen is referring to. I've modified to show my film Ace Ramano, but you can change the URL to that of the movie by navigating to your movie's "broadband version" page, right-clicking and selecting "View Source." Then find the URL that includes a .mov file, and paste it in place of where mine is. Hope this helps.

<Code removed> - I don't approve of doing this at all. Please link to the film page itself - not to the quicktime. You really do the filmmaker and the site a disservice by doing that. Studentfilms.com is NOT a fileserver. If you want to link to a film use a URL such as this:

http://www.studentfilms.com/film/get.do?id=946

Well, doesn't that ruin the point of studentfilms.com to post your film somewhere else? It's not really a very good way of supporting the site, it seems.

Ah no...you can't link to the QT files directly. That isn't appropriate. Link to the film page if you must link to a film...not to the quicktime directly.
