I haven't forgotten about you guys!
I'm currently researching the best way to deploy the server when it comes back up and even better - the best way to secure it when it comes back up so this doesn't happen again. Well...I'm using this downtime as a chance to upgrade to a better server at the same price from my hosting company. Which is great but the new box is having problems.
Just my luck. With any luck the new server will be back online tonight and I can get the site's e-mail back up and start rebuilding the site again. The tech support has been looking into it...it has been a long two days.  -Chris Studentfilms.com |

The site's e-mail is down during all this mess too.
Doh. I've literally been trying since yesterday morning to get the new server up and running. I hope they didn't give me a lemon. I did manage to back up all the data from the hacked server. Soon. No set date. But ASAP.
Could be back up tonight... tomorrow... wednesday... I hope it is the first option there. Basically the server is 90% up and the tech wizz who makes the site tick is finally back from out of town and able to work on it. (That was the main reason for the slowness to get the site back up - that and making sure the server is secure) Hang in there. I want it up as badly as you guys do. -Chris Studentfilms.com |
