Yes - no problem. Only one director per film. More than one writer is fine.

qucik question - it was earlier posted that you are trying to discourage excessive swearing. What would happen if you declared a film that was entered to have excesive swearing. Would it be disqualified? I'm only asking because their are a few swear words in my screenplay, the worse being F***, which appears once or twice.

The f word appearing once or twice shouldn't be a problem. Can you say the f word in a PG-13 film? I'm not sure.

Yeah, but only, apparently:

quote:
from mpaa.org
A film's single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, shall initially require the Rating Board to issue that film at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive must lead the Rating Board to issue a film an R rating, as must even one of these words used in a sexual context. These films can be rated less severely, however, if by a special vote, the Rating Board feels that a lesser rating would more responsibly reflect the opinion of American parents.

ONE of the harsher sexually derived words? I don't know about you guys, but I've seen plenty of PG-13 movies with more than one sexually derived words.

It is weird, but many PG-13 movies are NOT ok for 13 year old kids. Or at least, they shouldn't be, even if the kids HAVE heard it all in middle-school.

I agree. Some PG-13 movies are even becoming more and more like R rated films.
