Hello everyone,
Perry Kroll (better known as titaniumdoughnut) and I are looking to create a new FAQ for getting into film schools for the site.
The idea is to interview the admissions department at film schools with a bunch of questions, compile their answers to a FAQ on the site.
Perry is going to interview the admissions department at Tisch as soon as he gets unburied from underneath the 10+ projects that he's working on. He seems to be following question #13 (see below) to the fullest.

Good for him.
Below are the questions that he'll be asking the admissions department:
1. Do I need to go to film school?
2. What are the benefits of going to film school?
3. What are the best film schools?
4. What will I learn in film school?
5. What should I look for in a good film school?
6. How does film school assist me in getting a job or career in the film industry?
7. What are the admission requirements for getting into a film school?
8. Is there a minimum SAT score requried?
9. How important are interviews for getting into film school?
10. What do film schools look for in a portfolio film?
11. Which is better - a "normal" film school? or a 2 year technical program? (need to work on the wording for this one)
12. What should I do if I don't get into film school?
13. What should I do to get the most out of film school?
If you are attending a film school right now and would like to interview your admissions department on behalf of Studentfilms.com with the above questions, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Chris Wright
