CO2 guns work fine. You can make it look alot better if you hav Adobe photoshop. You can remove the single frame where the shot would be. Draw a muzzle flash in photoshop, and then drop it ontop of the existing frame. Drop in a gunshot sound effect, and your golden. Rewind Video has a good tutorial on how it works, although I cant seem to find the link. Stop by, and ask em (via boards, or e-mail) and im sure they can direct you. Or, some of the folks fom there, who drift through here may know where it is. "Mr. Mono. Paging Mr. NotAMono." R. M.
That works fine. I made a war movie called the LOST SOLDIERS and what we used were airsoft BB M-16 replicas and AK47 replicas. Loaded with gas. Alot of my friends were new at the movie stuff and it was funny listening to them yelling how stupid they feel. But anyways I did the same thing that he just said only I dont know how to use premiere. I just use PINNACLE STUDIO and i grabbed the frame and imported it to PHOTOSHOP, drew in the while gun flash, and then imported the shot back in for one or two frames (depending on how much the camera is moving will let you know if you can get away with the 2 frames). I put the sound effects in first and then added the flashes. I found this easier because if you have the falsh in first sometimes it didnt look like it was on the right time sometimes. But then again all the shots were automatic fire so maybe thats why. Im sure you can do it the otehr way. Anyways good luck. It worked for me. By the Way the Trailer for THE LOST SOLDIERS will be on this site too. A scene from the movie will be attached at the end. I would put the whole movie on except it is an hour and a half long.
