Where are all the women filmmakers and screenwiters??

I'm another one! Are you ladies in Grad school?

I'm not female, but would like to write with one, as I am sure the perspectives/stories will be different. I've written too many guns and ammo shorts.

I was looking at my site this morning, and realized I do not have a single female writing partner.

I read a lot of scripts, and its hilarious to see patterns in the ways men write dialog for female characters. Its very amusing how the women are either barbaric or very unrealistic. Same thing with general character development for female characters. Its like the women are there to serve a specific quick purpose and then they leave.

Hense the reason I would like to write a short or two, or even a feature.

No mystery we think differently.

Any takers? Put together a short? See how it goes?

yes im almost done. im writing 2 slightly different versions of how they meet and their dating.
im taking 2 different approaches. one being to outline the whole beginning then add details, and the other being just adding stuff as i go along. i must say that the fist way is alot simpler for myself.
i have my characters almost down pretty solid but i need a little more time for the guy, he could go in a lot of different directions.

i am just a she-bot... but i guess you can say i am a women or a chick cause women are old and chicks are hot and young right? lol write & director but i think i might look into special effects

yes i make some backstories to an extent. not too complex but just a bit to add some depth

do you think you could help me with my main character that im writing? just a little backstory would be nice. i kinda already have it going tho.
