ok, i realise that having 2 movies going at once would be a really bad idea (my drug movie and this one), but i need a new video for my school's oscars in 3 weeks. i was thinking about doing a short(maybe 10 minutes max) about a kid who goes camping and...thats where i need help. i want it to be a suspense/action movie, but the trick is its not a horror movie and it wont use guns. does anyone have any ideas for interesting things to happen to the guy out in the woods? and does anyone know where i can get some music to fit this theme? thanks for your help on the drug movie guys, i hope you can be as helpful on this one. peace out.

ya, well our school is huge on broadcasting/film. we just bought 2 panasonic 410A broadcast cameras at $14k each and we run a TV channel out of our studio.

o and if i could i was kind of trying to make this a 1 actor movie. i have a friend whos really good at acting so ill use him.

he could have a UFO sighting...

just have a guy whos lost that gets stalked by something in the woods and you cant see it

You could do a man in th wilderness thing, where a guy just gets lost and has to survive on his own in the woods (eats rats, lives in a man made shelter, etc etc) Could go the cannabalism route, where a group/2 people are trapped in the mountains and have to/want to eat each other.
As far as music goes, you can check the music & soundeffects section of these links, might help you out. Or you could always contact one of the many composers on these boards

ok, i got it. kid goes out camping, travels for a while, then falls, hurts his leg, and he drops his pack off a cliff into a lake(already got a location, actually, the location inspired this). he calls for help on his cell phone, but it goes out before he can tell them exactly where he is. kid then uses his survival skills to live off the land until they come and rescue him.

ya i know, if i can muster up $10 after im done hopefully it will be on here soon. i went and scouted locations today and found a really cool and beautifully preserved boy scout camp on like 100 acres right next to a huge lake, its going to be awsome.
