Take my advice and please don't let your script be lorded over by, of all things, a computer program...granted, it's a sci-fi script, but still, sci-fi filmmakers like Paul W.S. Anderson probably write their movies like that, lol...I would just keep shopping around for a scriptwriter. It doesn't have to be a professional, money-grubbing scriptwriter, just someone who can prove to you they know how to write decent sci-fi and help someone carry out their vision. It seems to me like you could be one of those auteur filmmakers if you work hard enough...a filmmaker who has a very strong and unique vision, and looks to the skills of others to convey that vision.

That's a very important part. You create the rules and then enforce them. If they get broken, the story sucks. | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." Wodehouse

I emailed this awhile back and I never followed through because the idea is so damn overwhelming. Anyway, this idea just won't die and I feel like if I don't give it a shot I will totally regret it. okay, so i've had this idea for a film since the late 90's. Everytime I think about it, i get overwhelmed because I've never written a screenplay before. Also, the way I invision the movie being shot, the set and everything also overwhelms me. I would be fine starting with a short version of this but I need to flush out some details since Sci-Fi can be overwhelming. if anyone is a fan of THX 1138, Logans Run, Tron etc and have written short screenplays before please contact me and let me know if you'de be interested in helping me put my idea in writing. cheers!
