A kid is a master scam artist and steals things like he already owned them, and never gets caught. Also keep in mind that this kid is in 4th or 5th grade. He also has his own 'gang' that protects him, no one ever wins against him. Just preliminary thoughts...came up with it when i thought i saw some kid shoplifting at the grocery store tonite.

i like it, it sounds a lot like a movie that i'm making right now. mine is about a teenager like 17 or so, and he is a kleptomaniac. it starts out funny, but sort of turns sad when he realizes that it is an addiction and he can't stop even when he wants to stop, like he starts to steal from his friends when he doesn't want to and **** like that, so its really a drama, but yours sounds like it comes from a completly different angle so thats good, i look foward to here more about it

that idea sounds like 2 movies that are currently out right now :The Perfect Score or whatever where those bonehead kids steal the SATs and that other movie with 'tween cat burglars. If you wanna make this movie, don't let anyone stop you, but just to let you know dude, it's kind of played out.

just to clarify, i'm trying to make mine very dramatic, sort of along the same lines as trainspotting(hot it starts out funny, but quickly packs on the drama), i'm not making it like spy kids at all, mine is about a teen who just kinda steals junk, not like sneaking into military bases or whatever the **** spy kids is, not saying that that genre is bad, just saying that thats not what mine is gonna be
