Hello, I just signed up, so first hi everyone, I am from Vancouver BC.
Anyways, not much time.
I have entered a short film festival and need some help coming up with ideas, the hard part is that the film has to follow a specified prop, theme, and genre.
I have come up with a few ideas, but none which I want to persue.
The film can be a max of ten minutes, personally I like short and sweet, maybe 4-5 mins. And, the prop, theme and genre must be followed and must be a significant part of the film.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Prop: Park Bench
Genre: Thriller/Suspense
Theme: "Time is fleeting, enjoy life while you can."
So, just to clarify an example would be a thriller where someone is murdered on a park bench and has a theme of enjoy life while you can, (maybe they were delaying some event, but the audience realizes you can die at any time, so live each day as if it is your last), thats just a simple example.
Okay, A person sitting on a park bench as if waiting for a bus, but the bus passes, we all wonder"what's the deal?" But,in reality this person is waiting for death, for example a grim reaper type character. Well, something along those lines. Good luck with your short. KJ
