Hehe...well I recently read an article in the Star Ledger and it was very realistic and discouraging... it outlines the process of getting your script in the business.. the chances are almost zero for a new writer, but it depends on if you're any good. You can google it if you like, I found it very helpful.
Teh strange muffins! "Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate"
Go to www.inktip.com and www.scriptP.I.M.P.com for lots of useful ideas on the subject. Also, once you get your script complete you can place it on the sites for a nominal fee. It's worth it. I've had my script requested six times since July of 2004. I've had one turn down, but five are still pending. Not bad for a new writer.
Hope this helps.
