I'm just finishing writing a feature length screenplay that I plan to film next summer. I'm trying to get people involved and raise some money and I'm putting together a treatment to show people so you don't have to read 90 pages. What is the traditional length for these? I've heard anywhere from 1-30 pages as being an "acceptable" length and I'm looking for something a little more specific than that. Is it really just how ever many pages it takes to convey the point? Right now my treatment is 7 pages.

If it were me, I'd try to keep it to two or three single spaced pages. The whole point is to give an overview in broad strokes.
