Hey Heather--welcome. Try looking at a party/Halloween store (ala Party City or something like that)if you want to buy it. Otherwise you can make it using a few recipes that can be found at this site: Fake Blood RecipesGood Luck!

alot of the party stuff is really really bright and looks kind of cheesy. depending on the way in which the injury occurs (falling, being knocked down outside, etc) adding some smears of dirt or mud can really help the cheesy blood. | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." i assume we're talking about the death jump you mentioned in another thread. so you want a pool of blood forming around the dead actors on the ground? party blood is not going to do that - you need tons and it's like toothpaste, it won't pool. you'll need to spread it with a putty knife! i'd def suggest a blood recipe from one of the sites people have linked to. maybe you can pump it out from under the actors with tubing of some sort. good luck! | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." I agree. Corn syrup and red food coloring works the best. Just make sure that you limit the amount of night shooting you do with it because it will harden in the cold and stick to the actor for several days.

I've had the same jar of blood for about 1 year now and its just starting to thin. (corn syrup and food coloring). I think you'll be fine, Kyle.
