I am also a women film maker, I write, film and produce! Its a day and age for women to start stepping up in creating and directing. I think its incredible! I would love to work with one of you guys! Any takers?
This is quite funny. I know i am a little late but early on in this post someone mentioned how us men write women dialogue. Being a gay man and a writer i guess i get the best of both worlds,so writing dialogue for a women is not as difficult.

hehe-- thats what my friend andrew says. I think because I'm a bit of a tomboy at heart-- and most of my friends are guys-- I write my men really well too.
Male here. I just thought I'd throw out a few films I thought were good and bad as far as I could tell in developing female roles in the hopes that others (especially female filmmakers) might do the same. First guy that comes to mind as norotious for flat female roles is Spike Lee. I thought his Rosario Dawson character in 25th hour, is just one of the many bad ones. I likes Quentin Tarantino's Rosario Dawson character however, in Death Proof, all those ladies seemed to have a beleivable dynamic to me. I also really loved the french film Innocence, an almost totally female cast, but, then, they were all almost totally under 13 so, maybe this sint the best example. others?
