Hello everyone,
I'm filming web based corporate videos for my university and I'm wondering what everyone else charges for their services. The videos are each about 10 min long and don't require much editing. I'm combining a powerpoint presentation with the speaker talking. The video example I did for them took me around 4 hours to edit and for the next videos I will also be shooting it for them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is the budget very high? If you can get away with it I'd say not to go any lower than $50 per hour. Higher if they seem to have really deep pockets Wink

It's often best to have a flat rate though, so figure out how much time you think you're going to spend, add that up at $50 per hour, and then throw in an extra $100 for unforeseen events. Tell them your rate is normally $50/hour, but you're going to give them a flat rate of x dollars. People usually like getting a flat rate cause it seems like they're somehow going to get extra work for the same price.
