I know several people who have bought anamorphic adapters for their DVX100 and hate them. Alot complain they have to zoom in considerably to get rid on vinneting (which defeats the point) Research it heavily. I would suggest hitting the DVX100 forums at places like DVuser.com and asking around. Good luck. R. Michael

Putting the anamorphic adapter should result in a wider angle to begin with, so even if you have to zoom in a bit you'll have at least a similar FOV as without it. Does the adapter not resolve very well or something?

I got that from something the Linns were saying about theirs. They hate it. Ive also heard bad reports about several others, although Im curious which adapter was used for these shots.
Looks good to me, unless they were VERY wide to begin with.
I got a guy in South Florida to pick up 3 of the DVX100's after he toyed with mine, and hes also grabbing the prime lens adapter. It shoots lens on lens. Thats what Im interested to see. Ill let you know how it looks. (hopefully with some grabs or footage) R. Michael
