Holy sh*it, that is quite the package. Since Jason was so nice to tell us why he wouldn't buy from there. I think I will state maybe why you should. E-bay has become one of the best places to shop for electronics. This guy seems to have great reviews, plus he supplies all the information, doesn't try to hide or anything.
If he says everything is brand new , in package, and u get all those great products with warranty, I'd go for it. Damn I wish I knew about that when I purchased my gl2!!
People have to realize what great deals u can get on the internet, e-bay especially.
Then again you still have to becareful, if you feel this guy has provided enough information for you to hork out that much cash, then do it. Or call and do it over the phone, it doesn't have to be thru the internet. That's my two cents anyways, hope it helps.
If you don't look I'll force you to _=_

To me it looks like a good deal value wise, but as anything bought over the internet, you have to carefull. $2000 plus is a huge amount of cash to loose if you spend unwisley.
the seller's 55 negatives in his record told me that I wouldnt buy from him, regardless of how many postives. The chances are just too high for such a large amount of $$$. But thats just my personal standard.
If you DO buy this package, contact the seller by email, maybe even call him. If anything seems shady or he doesnt reply to your email within 24 hours, I would not recommend this purchase.
P.S. What is escrow (besides the time between buying a home and being sold) ?

I rifled through that seller's negative reviews. It seems that the problem people have with him is that he sometimes sells products that are out of stock and the buyer is stuck waiting for them. However, it also seems that, for those types of negative reviews, he has given refunds to those people who don't want to wait. Basically, I guess, if you buy from this person, keep a good line of communication and be persistant as a mofo.
The wide angle and telephoto are a nice addition to the package, but there were other things that disturbed me.
1. The "Professional" Filter Kit. You can buy filters for $20-$30 each. It listed as $299.
2. Deluxe Tripod. If you look at the pic, it's a mini-tripod (table top model). Not worth $49.
3. "Rapid" Charger. Maybe. However, the regular charger that comes with the camera will charge a BP915 (one hour battery) in an hour too. $249? I doubt it.
4. Heavy duty aluminum case. It's probably nice, but I found a metal camera case online for $49 and it has worked great. Not sure $299 is very accurate, but I know the really good ones can be expensive.
5. This was the biggest joke. I "Professional" lens cleaning kit. A piece of cloth, Q-tips and some cleaner. $49. I don't think so. Seven or eight bucks at any camera store, max.
As for his positives vs negatives, I couldn't vouch for them, but with these five (in my opinion) glaring inconsistencies in pricing, I wouldn't buy.
Just an opinion. Good luck.
