Hmmm...well you could steal. Seems to work for me. J/k, in video/film production there aren't really any tried and true "money making schemes", at least none that I've heard of. About that wedding thing, you don't need wireless mikes or fancy light set ups or professional equipment. Find a good place for your 1ccd camera (back of the center ailse, along the side of the room, balconies, ect) to shoot the A roll (the actuall ceremony) and use another camera to shoot B roll (reaction shots of guests, close ups ect). Keep a mike near the front aimed at the altar and run a wire back to the camera. Lighting isnt usually a problem, churches can be well lit on their own. Edit it all together and you're sure to make some money from newlyweds which you can invest in more equipment (better/more mikes, software, cameras, ect). This doesn't apply to just weddings, you know...diversify. If anyone else wants to add/correct to what I said, please, I'm just a high school student with some community access experiance... -Thomas Chalifour Writer/Director/Actor Extrodinaire Tommy Boy ProductionsThe Creative Process

Man you going to hate this but.... getting a job. A steady one, where you have consistent hours. Then set up a budget structure. If you have no overhead (you dont have to pay rent, buy food, pay car insurance, ect.) take advantage of it now while it is still an option. You could save aside quite a bit and still have a little spending money (just dont spend it all) on top of that, you can tell your parents your "plan". It should make them respect you more, seeing you working a "real job" to help you aspire toward your dreams. Just my two cents. R. Michael
