Hello everyone i´m new to this forum although I´ve been reading it for some time.
Thing is me and my pals are gonna do a low-budget actionmovie but here in Sweden laws are STRICT so we can´t actually get are hands on anything.
We are gonna use a digital cam and "waving" around with airsoft weapons. So, what program is cheap (preferably free)and is good for making SFX on the cpu?

hey kev, welcome.
Are you talking about special effects or sound effects?
You can make muzzle flashes in photoshop and apply them in your editor, if that's what you're looking for.
If you're looking for gun shot sounds, try searching the web. There are many out there. You can always tweak them in a sound editing app or your NLE crudely.

Did I completely miss your question? Perhaps you could be a little more specific what you are trying to do, what platform you are working on, and what software you have.
