I'm just going through that myself now and let me tell ya - it's not as easy as it sounds. I put out a casting call on mandy.com and then from that I got quite a few responses. From there, I responded and then went about arranging a place to hold the auditions. I found a little acting studio that was willing to let me use it for $30/hr with a cap at $200/day which is really good. (All CDN funds). Now I'm in the process of sending out emails with directions and locations, so I can better get an idea of how many people will be coming out. I have it so that they include the role they're auditioning for in the email so that I can sort them out in folders. Then I had my writer come up with excerpts for each character so that I can send it to the people a few days before coming out. I plan to have a camera recording the auditions with a reader off to the side reading the lines so that they can get into it a little more. Thats about all I can tell you for now - I'll post my results after the auditions. -Kegan

you all are braver then I am! luckily, I have a friend who is deep, deep in the theater world, and he keeps an eye out for good actors/actresses for me.
