My school has a newspaper called the "Echo." I thought it would be funny to make a video making fun of school newspapers. I was thinking "Useeful Ways To Use Your School Newspaper." This is what i thought of so far:

wipe your butt
check oil
start camp fire
target practice
picking up dead animals
wallpaper
wrapping paper
doggy pee area
hit sister with
baseball bat
blow nose
pirate hat
napkin
spit wads
tie
stop bleeding
draw on
dispose of gum
stocking stuffer
rug

and the last one would be "actually read it" You guys have any more ideas. I stuffed about 30 of the newspapers in my bag so i have plenty to mess around with. Let Me know

I dunno, that entire bit is a totally cheap shot against your school newspaper that screams immaturity, if I'm being honest. It's also way too general. I think you should focus on what specifically you don't like about the paper, and find a smart, funny way to satirize it.

or the story of a group of socially outcast dweebs (us filmmakers) trying to sabotage the popular school paper - and the hilarity that follows

I dunno. It could be kind of entertaining. You could actually do a video that promotes the paper by giving "101 (or whatever # you choose) uses of THE ECHO" - and 100 of them or similar to what you came up with and #101 is having students sitting and reading it and enjoying it!

Teacher teaches a class in "bad journalism" and has students open their text books - THE ECHO

I'm sure there are plenty of other ways.

Making a newspaper isn't exactly an easy thing to do. I know; I was an editor on the school newspaper. No matter how much you want it to turn out good, it's still just a high school newspaper and it's just not going to be all that good. But they still work REALLY hard to make it. At least give them a little credit.

If you're going to insult it, find an intelligent and smart way to approach it. It'll probably be pretty funny if you make it the right way.

Instead of satirizing the newspaper try making a story out of it. The jock whose name and picture infests every page or a Harriet the Spy type who takes her job a little to serious.
