Hi Everyone,
I m Sid frm India.

I have 2 questions:

1) I have written many short film ideas but want to give it a proper shape of screenplay. Hw do we go abt it, ny links, resources? I mean the exact format etc for writing screenplays etc.

2) I m keen on submitting my short film ideas on net. I m aware of channel4.com (after dark) section .Besides tht, any other site?

Thnks
Sid

Here's a pretty good link, http://www.exposure.co.uk/eejit/script/index.html

But this site is wrong about camera direction in fact, YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE CAMERA DIRECTIONS IN YOUR SCRIPT!!!! It's not the screenwriters job to direct the movie!

But formatting is somwhat slippery in terms of a concrete format. I recommend you buy the book "The Screenwriters bible" for the most current industry standard.
And to your second question I've heard AmericanZoetrope.com has a place for submitting and getting feedback on your writing.
Good luck.
