I'm having serious trouble thinking of a movie. I am way past my personal deadline for an idea. If anyone can offer any ideas to this prompt, then please post them here.

A couple of kids are cleaning out a basement, when they stumble upon an unmarked and mysterious box.

What I'm looking for is:
What's in the box?
How does the box or it's contents affect the kids?
A unique twist if you can think of one.

Well the kids could be cleaning a serial killers basement. The box can have be a serial killer's trophies of his victims. THe unique twist can be they have just became the next victims.

To be totally honest it seemed a tiny bit contrived or hackneyed, but not bad as ideas go, and nothing like as corny as mine.
