I'd really like to use this public golf course nearby for the main location of my movie. However, I need an idea of some funny situations that could happen on a golf course. Also should I ask permission. The guys that run it are druggies anyways but I thought I should ask anyways.

Even though it is a public golf course, you should attempt to get a permit from the city or permission from the druggies, just tell them what you're doing (and if it's not too bad they should give you one for free or cheap - I've gotten permits for free a couple times in my town).

You could probably get away with just shooting there spontaneously, but if you think the guys that run it are actually druggies...then you might want to think about the potential consequences if they so choose to see your filming as a problem. Good luck!

i've always had an idea for a film taking place on a golf course...two best friends enjoying a game of golf. then wacky sorts of things happen that have no meaning whatsoever and then by the end of the 9 one ends up killing the other one in cold blood. i dunno.

Hey what if like two guys make a bet to see who can get thee better score and then maybe you can go from there.. I dunno anyone else wanna give it a shot?
