so true . . . so true . . . Anyways, if you play with the script right you could probably make it LOOK original. Give him an original reason to read the letters. Not he's lonely, not he wants revenge. I can't think of anything off the top of my head to replace it, but I'm sure you could come up with something.

well the difference is the main character isnt a sniveling douchebag like the main character of One Hour Photo. God damn Robin Williams pissed me off in that.
But really though, Im not going for he's obsessed with a family or a person. Something more like he begins to read letters from this one person to this other person, perhaps interprets it wrong, maybe he thinks this one person is in trouble, consipracy theories, etc.
Im not going for the audience seeing him as disturbed, like in photo. I meanlike the audience is sort of with him, although he gets caught up in this world of letters. You know what I mean? The lonliness isnt ultra played up, it's just clear that he doesnt have much in his life, and how tempting must it be to handle thousands of letters a day and not be able to open one? It's believable that someone with nothing really in their life would sooner or later give in. Besides, the postal service is ****ing crazy anyway, we all know that (going "postal", etc.)
