im going to Italy over the summer and a friend of mine is coming with me. we're going to be making a movie and he's going to be the star. We have no real plot written out yet, but we want to capture a lot of Europe while we're there, so we figured his character would be on vacation in Europe so while he sight-sees, we document our trip. we need some help coming up with ideas for why he is there...something clever

Ok, you really need to specify where you are going, as in what cities. And how much time you are going to have to shoot this film. You say you are going there for the summer, but how much time are you BOTH going to set aside to film. Also, if it is only you and your friend, it would seem that only one of you could be in it. One cameraman one actor. ANd also, what kind of movie do you want to make?

I you're a playa, you could do a Kip Pardue in Glitterati (similar to the europe montage in Rules of Attraction).
