Hey everyone, I've been working on a television show for the past few months, and I'm currently just finishing the third episode. I was just wondering what you guys thought of the overall plot, and if anyone was willing to let me email them the pilot episode and review it.
The story basically revolves around Sarah Cross, a sixteen year old girl who lives with her lawyer father, Peter, and her alcoholic step-mother, Nicole, in Beverly Hills. After living a lifetime of luxury, everything is taken away from the Cross family after a financial scandal forces them to sell everything they own and move to a much less-fortunate small town. On her first night in her new town, Sarah quickly befriends her next-door neighbour, Aaron Shields, and his family. Aaron's parents, Sharon and Jim, immediately welcome the Cross family with open arms, as their daughter Rachel slowly slides into a world of darkness. Ben, a troubled kid who was once Aaron's best friend, desperately tries to change his life, but continues to find himself falling into the same traps after an incident on Sarah's first night in town will ultimately change everything. The show is basically about the relationships and conflicts between the old residents of the town, as well as the Cross family trying to adjust to their new lifestyle.

I get that it sounds similar to the OC in that little write-up, because all teen dramas have a certain similarity to it, but the scripts aren't really like that. It's kind of the opposite of the OC, in the way that the family needs to adjust to a lifestyle where nothing is handed to them anymore. It would be much darker and grittier than the OC. Thanks for your input though. If anyone is willing to review the pilot script, let me know.

I've read the script, and I must say, it is nothing like The OC. I think you all should check it out. I can actually visualize the scenes as I read them. Good job, man!

Do it man, I mean the premise sounds like it has great potential when you pitch it. Teen Dramas seem to be hot now, for example the O.C., Laguna Beach (albeit that's "reality?"), DeGrassi, and the hyped Whistler, the market is there and open.
