Well, let's see...I get kind of creeped out in the dark, I have kind of a thing about heights, plane rides and bees really freak me out, and I also get especially startled around sudden loud noises. Oh, and I also try to avoid confrontations. Am I the bravest 6 foot 3 guy you've ever heard of, or what?
(Although, in my defense, most of these fears I probably got from childhood experiences. Yes, really! )

I am scared of any type of bug, big or small. I hate those things. The scene in Indianna Jones and the Temple of Doom, with all those REAL bugs crawling around? Ooooohhh man, I would shoot myself just to take the fear away.
Then I see pictures of those camel spiders in Iraq, oh-my-God.

heights get to me ( the scene in vanilla sky when Cruise almost jumps off the roof scared me).
And recently, I found I have a fear of being buried alive. In kill bill when she gets buried and the screen goes dark for like 30 seconds also really got to me.

Yeah, same thing happened with my friend.

I'm not too fond of spiders, although I don't think it's anything unhealthy. I think pretty much everybody is at least a little scared of them.
My girlfriend and a couple other of my friends are afraid of clowns. That seems like a pretty big phobia. I'm personally not scared of them, but I guess I can understand why they could be scary. There's a lot of movies about evil clowns, not to mention a true story of one (Gacy).
I think what my biggest fear is having someone I love die. It's happened to me before (a close friend got killed) and now I'm just scared that it will happen again.
HOLY HELL... Alright first off... ET is one scary mother ****er.... he is, looks like some big ass prune with arms and feet... I was scared ****less off that ***** when i was a kid...
Also... For some wierd reason, Edward Scissorhands scared the **** outta me too when I was little..
Biggest 2 Fears...HEIGHTS and SUFFOCATION..(including being burried alive, drowning, and some ****er holding a pillow over your head)
BUT...yeah....ET...is one SCURRRRRRY motha'fuc***
P.S. Sorry about your friend Durden, If someone close to me died, I have no clue what I would do....

My biggest fear is that I'll die before I accomplish anything, or achieve my life long goals. I've never been scared of ET, but the witch in The Wizard of OZ used to frighten the **** out of me. And also the witch in a Hansel and Gretel film we had. Maybe I just had a phobia of witches as a kid. I also have a fear that Casey Donovan will release a second album. And people with knifes. What's with everyone having knifes these days? And also to lose someone close to me. I've never really exprerienced that. My great grandma died but I never really knew her, and my best friends dad died, and that sucked, but he wasn't really CLOSE to me. But yeah my main fear is just death in general. I've still got so much left to do (I haven't even got 500 posts on this site yet )

That's cool! In my final year of Drama we had to write and perform a monodrama attacking our NUMBER ONE personal fear. They were big things, fears as an individual.
One of my favourites was a friend of mine. His fear was of being forgotten. That was some powerful stuff, he really had a lot to show us. He showed us a character that was completely left behind by his friends who became successful, leaving him with nothing but isolation. He somehow managed to conenct with all of us, perhaps because he exposed a fear that we all secretley shared.
Mine was fear of unhappiness. It was really an astonishing experience exploring all of the different faces of my unhappiness and then attacking them head on in a performance, in front of all my classmates and close friends. Noting feels better than flushing out what you are afraid of, and overcoming it by putting yourself through it, knowing that you are completely in control of it all. Hard to explain... but thats what I feel...
Some other ones were: Loss of control, Emotion, Insignificance. If you are interested, i can look into it and get them all, but I'm not sure if it is the kind of thing you are looking for.
This sounds like it is going to be an interesting project. I definitely look forward to seeing what you do with it!
Hope I helped!

I suppose I have a fear of failure, not because I would feel lousy but because I think people think I will fail.... did that make sense.
I suppose it is the letting down of people I cherish that gets me about failure. Having someone believe in you and then ****ing it up. I think it also comes from wanting to prove guys that picked on me at school that I am better than them, pety aren't I.
