Student filmmakers took home the $1000 Grand Prize two of the last three years: You Could Be Next!Last Call for 7th Milwaukee Short Film Festival Entries
The Milwaukee Short Film Festival is accepting film and video submissions for its seventh annual program that have been postmarked by April 25, 2005. Scheduled for June 6 at Milwaukee’s Times Cinema, the festival will run in conjunction with the theatre’s 70th anniversary. MSFF presents jury and audience awards with a grand prize of $1000.
Narrative, documentary, experimental and animated films and videos up to 20 minutes in length will be accepted. For selection and programming consideration, MSFF accepts DVD and VHS copies (NTSC only). Filmmakers may submit up to three works with an $18 entry free per film.
MSFF provides up-and-coming filmmakers with an opportunity to show their work in a professional environment and for the community to compare local efforts with works from around the world. Student filmmakers won the grand prize for the juried competition at both the 4th and 6th festivals; MSFF is looking forward to supporting many more emerging filmmakers this year.
