Comcast cable television is launching a new TV series featuring short films by independent filmmakers, called "MovieScreams". This is a non-commercial screening of short films on public access television in Atlanta, Georgia. We’re looking for horror, thriller, suspense, sci-Fi, experimental and fantasy based short films to air on public television.

Similar to The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and Tales From The Crypt, MovieScreams airs 2-3 short horror films per show. Each episode is hosted by Roosevelt Samarie L, who introduces each film and concludes each episode. MovieScreams, is a half-hour cable access TV show. We give filmmakers the opportunity to show their films to over 300,000 cable TV subscribers in Atlanta, Georgia.

MovieScreams provides the kind of exposure indie filmmakers are looking for; the opportunity to have your film broadcast on cable television. This is a non-commercial screening on public television.

No promo videos or home movies. Submission is free. Films are accepted on an ongoing basis. Submissions must be under 25 minutes. All entries must be submitted either on DVD or mini-DV tape (NTSC format). Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English. We cannot accept PAL. Please ensure that all films are complete and working before submitting.
